Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been working back-to-back on powerful projects. Her upcoming film ‘Yashodha’ is all set to release in theaters this Friday. While she is doing extremely well on the professional front, her private life is going through a low. Whether it’s relationships or health, the actress has gone through a lot lately.
Recently, the actress took to her Instagram handle and disclosed about her being diagnosed with Myositis. She shared a long post along with a photo from the hospital and wrote that she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis a few months back. She further mentioned that the disease is taking longer to get cured than she had imagined.
Now while promoting her film Samantha opened about her health and got emotional. She mentioned that it has been three months since she’s dealing with the condition. In the interview, Samantha stated that there are bad days and good days when she finds it difficult to get up from bed and on other days she wants to fight back.
However, the actress further revealed that the disease is not life-threatening. She said that she read some articles in which the publications have mentioned that the condition she is in is life-threatening. But it is not like that, Myositis is not life-threatening, “At the moment, I’m not dead. I don’t think those headlines were necessary.” Samantha also mentioned that she is a fighter and will fight back.
Meanwhile, the actress will be seen in the role of a surrogate mother who will disclose the crime in the medical world.
