In 2021, the actress had left her fans in shock by declaring her separation from Naga Chaitanya.

Only a few people know that Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had first met on the shoot of their hit film, Yeh Maaya Chesave. Although, they didn’t fall in love at that time. Rather, their dating talks started in 2015 when they were captured together. Eventually, Samantha Prabhu and Chaitanya had tied the knot on October 7, 2017.
A few days back, Samantha Prabhu take a part in the 4th edition of the Critics Choice Awards in Mumbai. At the event, she wore a balletic green-wrap dress with a plunging corset. She trenched the accessories and pick nude-toned makeup and a messy cord. She looked stunning as she stepped out on the red carpet. While Samantha looked quite pretty, unfortunately, her dress didn’t please the netizens. In a point of fact, Samantha got brutally trolled for her dressing style after this.

The saree had belonged to Chaitanya’s grandmother. She didn’t want to keep with her anything that belonged to her ex-husband and his family.
Samantha and Chaitanya had announced their divorce, on October 2, 2021. They had taken to their Instagram handles and had shared the news of their separation. Their declaration could be read as: “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship, which we believe will always hold a special bond between us.”
