This week’s episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 featured an exciting lineup, including Saif Ali Khan, Jr NTR, and Janhvi Kapoor. The lively discussion took an intriguing turn when host Kapil Sharma asked Saif whether his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, seeks his professional guidance as he prepares to enter the Bollywood scene.
In a candid moment, Saif shared that while his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, frequently turns to him for advice, Ibrahim has yet to reach out. “Ibrahim has just started. His film hasn’t been released yet, so he doesn’t ask much,” Saif explained. He emphasised the close relationship he shares with Sara, noting, “She often comes to me with scenes and asks me to read them with her and give her some ideas”, adding, “But maybe in future, I will do the same with Ibrahim.”

Saif’s comments raised eyebrows, as it seems Ibrahim, who is gearing up for his debut in the film Sarzameen, is charting his path in the industry. The film, which also stars Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is directed by Kayoze Irani and backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
Archana Puran Singh, the show’s permanent guest, interjected to praise Ibrahim, having recently worked with him in a film. She described him as “the sweetest boy in the whole world,” which prompted a proud response from Saif, who expressed his happiness over the compliment.
While Saif’s relationship with Sara appears collaborative, it’s noteworthy that Ibrahim prefers to navigate his career independently at this stage. As he prepares for his upcoming debut, fans are left wondering if he will eventually seek his father’s advice or if he will continue to carve out his own identity in Bollywood.
The episode highlighted the dynamics of family and mentorship within the film industry, leaving audiences curious about Ibrahim’s journey ahead. As Saif and his children each embrace their unique paths, it seems the next generation of Bollywood talent is set to make its mark.
