Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon and her driver got assaulted by a mob outside her residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The chaos erupted when a group accused her car of severely injuring a burqa-clad woman.

The incident occurred as Raveena’s driver attempted to reverse her car and park it at her residence. During this manoeuvre, another vehicle approached and alleged that Raveena’s car had collided with it. A man named Mohammed claimed that his niece, mother, and sister were injured in the accident.

Raveena Tandon Attacked By Mob

A video posted by Mohsin Shaikh shows a mob surrounding Raveena Tandon, assaulting her as she tried to calm the situation. The actress pleaded with the crowd, saying, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me,” while a man in the background yelled, “Maaro isko” (hit her).

CCTV Footage Twist

Mohammed’s burqa-clad relative claimed that Raveena assaulted her, causing a nose injury. “You will have to spend the night in jail. My nose is bleeding,” she alleged. Another family member accused Raveena of being drunk and causing serious head injuries to her mother.

CCTV footage that surfaced on social media shows that Raveena Tandon’s car did not hit anyone. The Mumbai police further confirmed this. Sources from The Times of India also clarified that the actress was not intoxicated during the incident.

No Formal Complaints Filed

According to the police, neither Raveena Tandon nor Mohammed’s family filed a formal complaint. DCP Raj Tilak Roshan dismissed claims of any head injuries, confirming that the allegations were baseless.

Raveena Tandon, who tried to defuse the situation peacefully, found herself at the centre of an unwarranted assault. The CCTV evidence and police statements have cleared her of wrongdoing, emphasizing the importance of verifying facts before jumping to conclusions.
