Delhi government led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced upcoming biographical sports drama to be tax-free. The film has been declared tax-free before its release. The move will surely help the film in its long theatrical score.

The filmmaker Kabir Khan wrote, “Thank you, Shri. @arvindkejriwal ji and Shri. Sisodia. aap ji, for declaring the film 83 tax-free in Delhi! Your gesture will enable us to propagate the tale of India’s greatest victory to a wider audience. @therealkapildev #ThisIs83,” along with 83’s poster.
The film 83 tells the story of how the Indian cricket team defeated West Indies to clinch their maiden World Cup in 1983. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s film 83 is going to release on 24th December 2021. Apart from Ranveer Singh, it also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Adinath Kothare, Ammy Virk, Deepika Padukone, and others. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh will be seen playing legendary Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev in his film 83. Recently, He talked about getting into the skin of the character. While speaking with IANS, Ranveer Singh revealed that bowling like the star cricketer was the most difficult aspect for him.
“Kapil Dev has a very unique bowling action and his bio-mechanics are very unique to him. My body is very different from his so I had to transform my physicality drastically in order to achieve it,” said the actor Ranveer Singh. Ranveer Singh was last seen in Sooriyavanshi with Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Ajay Devgn.
