Amid pandemic, many creators have been putting efforts into creating entertaining content. Big Boss 14 contestant Rakhi Sawant has been active in showing off her charm in times of crisis. The actress was spotted in the city buying vegetables, carrying a PPE Kit. However, the video was appreciated by some while some criticized her for bargaining with the vendors amid Covid-19. The commentators felt negotiating with the sellers is not good as they have low income and might need more to survive in the pandemic.
Rakhi can be seen in the video arguing with the vegetable sellers to give her the goods for half price. She has also seen haggling for garlic sachet, requesting them to give her at for Rs 150 instead of Rs 200. Rakhi also claims that during the lockdown, vendors demanded more money from poor people like us (referring it to herself). In response, the vendor referred her, ‘Paisawala’. In return, Rakhi says, “Paisewali hoon toh mein tumhari liye kamati hu kya? Itna mehnat karti hu mein reality show mein”. In the end, Rakhi was seen rejoicing as her bill comes to Rs 260 and was seen hailing the vendors.
Netizens, on the other hand, mocked her for doing so, one person said, “Plz don’t negotiate with local vendors. They need more money than us. While another said, “Garibo se baw taw mat karo mall me jakr kartey ho kya bargaining.”
