Actress Priyanka Chopra, despite her demanding work schedule, remains committed to incorporating traditional beauty and wellness remedies into her routine. Her mother, Dr. Madhu Chopra, frequently shares DIY (do-it-yourself) skincare tips that the actress has been using since childhood. In a recent Instagram post, Madhu Chopra addressed a question she often receives: does Priyanka truly practice the skincare methods she promotes?
On Friday, Madhu Chopra took to Instagram to share a clip from a recent event. In her caption, she acknowledged the common query, writing, “I get asked this all the time, does Priyanka Chopra really follow all the DIY skincare tips I share?”
Madhu confirmed that her daughter has been diligent about skincare from a young age and continues to implement many of the home remedies recommended by her mother. “Priyanka has been dedicated to her skincare routine from a young age, and I’m proud to say she incorporates many of the DIY remedies I recommend,” Madhu wrote. She highlighted several specific treatments, including rice water masks, sugar scrubs, and nourishing hair oils, which the actress uses even while traveling. This blend of traditional and modern skincare, according to Madhu, keeps Priyanka’s skin radiant despite her busy lifestyle.
In a video accompanying the post, Madhu further elaborated on her daughter’s skincare regimen. When asked about Priyanka’s favorite routines and treatments, she explained that the actress has always taken exceptional care of her skin and hair. “She takes extraordinary care of her skin and hair because she was blessed with good skin. She never had breakouts, never had stress,” Madhu said, recalling how Priyanka’s childhood routine included oiling her hair, washing it off, and applying homemade face packs, or ubtan.
Although Priyanka’s skincare regime has evolved with her busy lifestyle, her mother emphasized that the actress continues to rely on DIY remedies to address any skin concerns. “Now she has grown bigger and better, but sometimes her skin has ups and downs as she is traveling the world… She follows all of it – kachi malai (fresh cream), sugar scrub, rice water mask, you name it, and she does it,” Madhu added.
Currently filming Citadel season 2, Priyanka Chopra is also preparing for the release of her upcoming Hollywood projects, The Bluff and Heads of State.
