The post covid situation or the pre covid situation , the poverty and unemployment are increasing day by day. Unemployment is when a person is ready to work but is not getting work on the other hand poverty is when you are not able to fulfill the basic necessities of life. As the unemployment rises poverty also rises as the people don’t have enough income to afford their day to day needs.Poverty can be caused by different factors such as underdeveloped nature of economy, increase in population,low level of productivity in agriculture and industry, regional disparities etc.
To tackle this situation of government have also taken many steps and launched many schemes to tackle this situation Like MRNREGA , Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Yojana (DAY) , National Health Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana , Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana , Pradhan Matri Awaas Yojana . Infact government have also started many skill development schemes like Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana , National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme , USSTAD scheme, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushal Yojana etc.but their implementation is very important on the ground so government should ensure that they are implemented successfully and each and every individual should get the benefit of it.
We should focus more on enhancing the skill while keeping in mind the most demanded scheme . When we focus more on employment generation , it will not only help the government but also the people who are in need of jobs. We can focus on how we can produce more jobs by investing very small amount in various sectors like micro small and medium enterprise, small scale industries etc . Education is very important , so by getting educating we can get jobs as well further go outside the country to do the job.
When the unemployment rate will come down , poverty will also be in control upto great extent.
