Bollywood actress Patralekhaa recently addressed a fan’s question about plastic surgery for the first time during a Reddit interaction. Both Patralekhaa and her husband, Rajkummar Rao, have frequently faced speculation regarding cosmetic procedures. While Rajkummar had long denied such rumours, he eventually admitted to getting chin fillers.

After Rajkummar Rao admitted to getting chin fillers, Patralekhaa faced questions about plastic surgery and other cosmetic treatments. During a recent ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, a fan asked her opinion on procedures like plastic surgery, lip fillers, and Botox. Responding with grace, Patralekhaa said she believes it’s perfectly fine if such treatments boost a person’s confidence. She wrote: “Do what makes you feel confident… No judgments!!”
When Rajkummar Rao admitted to using chin fillers
Earlier, during a recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar addressed the plastic surgery rumors, clarifying that the speculation stemmed from edited photos. In his words: “I have not done any plastic surgery guys. It is just a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup. But I must say it looks weird even for me. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery.”
Rajkummar Rao also revealed that he once chose to get chin fillers to boost his confidence. Acting on his dermatologist’s suggestion, he went ahead with the procedure and felt more self-assured afterward. He shared: “Having said that, about eight years ago, I did some filler work on my chin because I wanted to look confident. My dermatologist suggested it and I did. Do I feel confident after that? Yes. Have I done better films after that? It has changed the perception.”
In his concluding remarks, Rajkummar Rao shared his thoughts on actors modifying their facial features through various treatments. He acknowledged that, given acting is a visual medium, it’s completely acceptable for individuals to pursue such enhancements if it helps boost their confidence. He also noted that, in his view, plastic surgery is both costly and time-consuming.
Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao’s First Meeting
Patralekha initially found Rajkummar Rao a bit creepy when they first met. She recalled watching his debut film Love Sex Aur Dhokha, and shortly after, receiving a call from a friend studying at FTII. The actress shared: “I had just seen LSD. His first film. About three days later, one of my school friends called me, she said, ‘Could you do this video for me, it’s a music video, and I am calling this other actor called Rajkummar. He was just on LSD.’ I said, ‘Ruksana, no, I am not coming because I think he is very creepy and I was scared.’ She was like, ‘Nothing will happen, we will send you a car, and why don’t you get your sister along with you?’ I was like, ‘Okay, let’s see.’ ”
