Pankaj Tripathi has set new bars in acting with his role as Kaleen Bhaiya or Akhandanand Tripathi in the recently released show Mirzapur season 2. He has done some really critically acclaimed roles in shows and movies like Gunjan, Sacred Games, Gangs Of Wasseypur and many more. So, what would a daughter say if she saw her father doing such a role? Let’s find out from Pankaj Tripathi himself.
In a conversation with Spotboye, Pankaj Tripathi revealed how his daughter reacts to the roles he plays in the movies or web-series’. The entertainment portal quoted him saying, “Reactions toh aache hi aate hai, hala ki woh zyada dekhti nahi hai. Usko Korean series aur films zyada pasand aate hai. Meri filmein bhi dekhti hai aur dekh ke bol deti hai kuch jab mann aata hai toh. Criticize bhi kar deti ha, bol deti hai aapne aacha nahi kiya yaha.”
When Pankaj Tripathi was asked about his daughter’s reaction to the recently released Mirzapur, he shared that she has seen the show. “Nahi, usne Mirzapur nahi dekha hai,” he said.
During the same conversation, Pankaj Tripathi also spoke about his equation with his father and revealed that his father has also not seen the show. Pankaj said, “Mirzapur series kya hai, unhe idea bhi nahi hoga. Unhe pata hai main filmein karta hun. Main jaata hun toh bas itna poochte hai, ‘Tumhara sab theek hai na?’ toh main bol deta hun, haan sab theek hai. Toh unhe kuch zyada idea nahi hai, aaj tak unhone meri koi film theatre mein nahi dekhe hai. Kabhi Kabhaar laptop par kuch scene dekh liya, kisi ne dikha diya toh. TV nahi dekhte hai woh, unhe pasand nahi hai. Mera jo gaon mein ghar hai, waha aaj bhi TV nahi hai. Maine bahut baar insist kiya ki main TV lagwa deta hun, kam se kam meri filmein dekh lena but dono maa aur babu ji ne bola nahi chahiye.”
