She recalled their initial meeting during a coffee brand advertisement shoot. Despite being unable to meet in person, they nurtured their connection through phone conversations.
Discussing the enchanting proposal, the 49-year-old actress shared details of her experience when Arbaaz had proposed to her. After completing her show on her birthday, she visited Arbaaz at his home. Reflecting on the moment, she recalled, “He was running a high fever and lay on a bed under a blanket. Despite his fever, he extended his hand to wish me, and his hand was trembling due to the fever. To my complete astonishment, he unveiled a box and presented me with the most exquisite diamond ring. I was deeply moved by the gesture, and I continue to cherish it,” she said
For those unaware, Malaika and Arbaaz finalized their divorce in 2017, marking the end of their 18-year marriage. They continue to co-parent their son, Arhaan.
