On Thursday, Kriti had shared a series of photos from her chooda ceremony, where she looked radiant in a lime green saree paired with a simple pink dupatta. “Naani ma ka haar aur ma ki shaadi ka dupatta! The two things I was sure I was going to adorn during my Chooda ceremony even before there was a boyfriend or a proposal ❤️ bachpan ka Sapna tha,” she had written.

She had also revealed that while she was certain about having a traditional red chooda, many people had tried to convince her otherwise. “Laal chooda and traditional kaleera’s were a non-negotiable too. The number of people who tried to convince me otherwise was insane. But I’m so glad I stuck to what I wanted to do and didn’t look back,” she had stated.

In the recent past, several actresses had been observed ditching the traditional red chooda in favor of pastel pink or ivory choodas for their weddings.
