The Narcotics Control Bureau is toiling hard to uncover the drug nexus prevalent in the glamour world. First, it took down many celebs from the film industry in relation to the drug case for possessing, peddling, or consuming drugs. Now, it seems they’ve moved on to the TV industry. And the raid at Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s house and their arrest later is proof of the same. It came as a shocker for many that the comedian couple was arrested by the NCB on Saturday for having a sizeable amount of weed at their home. Now, Bharti’s friend and actor Karan Patel has come out to talk about the same.

Karan Patel and Bharti Singh had both been a part of the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. While talking to Hindustan Times about Bharti’s arrest by NCB, Karan stated that he only did a show with her and doesn’t know anything else about her beyond that. He was quoted saying, “I don’t know anything else about her beyond that. It is strictly their personal business. I am not aware of what she does in her life. I do not want to comment on that much. I don’t believe that it is a case of targeting TV industry next. Let the case take its own course is all that I would like to say.”

According to the reports, Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa’s name came under the NCB scanner during the questioning of a drug peddler. Now, the two have been sent to 14-day judicial custody till December 4 in connection with the seizure of ganja from their home.
