Mumbai is abuzz with celebrations as Bollywood celebrities join in the vibrant festivities of Ashtami and Navami during Durga Puja. Photos and videos featuring stars such as Kajol, Tanishaa Mukerji, and Alia Bhatt have circulated widely on social media, showcasing their participation in the auspicious rituals.

One notable incident involved Kajol, who was seen expressing her displeasure at attendees wearing shoes near the idol of Goddess Durga during the puja. In a video that garnered significant attention, Kajol can be heard admonishing the crowd, saying, “Have some respect, this is puja.” The clip also featured Alia Bhatt and Tanishaa Mukerji, both of whom were present to join in the celebrations. Alia dazzled in a beautiful red saree, accompanied by her sister Shaheen Bhatt, who opted for a vibrant yellow ethnic outfit.

Kajol was later spotted with her husband, Ajay Devgn, and their son, Yug, as the family participated in the festivities. The trio coordinated their outfits, with Ajay and Yug both dressed in navy blue kurta sets, adding a touch of family unity to the celebrations.

Earlier in the week, on Saptami, actor Ranbir Kapoor was also seen at the same pandal, which is known for its elaborate decorations and vibrant atmosphere. The Durga Puja pandal is arranged by the families of Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and Ayan Mukerji, who are cousins, highlighting the close-knit connections within the industry. Ayan and Ranbir share a strong bond, often being seen together at various events.

The celebrations have been a star-studded affair, with other actors like Rani Mukerji, Vatsal Sheth, and Ishita Dutta also spotted at the pandal. The festivities, filled with traditional rituals and communal joy, are set to culminate on October 12 with Sindoor Khela, a ritual symbolizing the arrival of married women to the puja.

As the Bollywood fraternity continues to embrace its cultural roots, the vibrant celebrations not only reflect the rich traditions of Durga Puja but also reinforce the unity and camaraderie among the stars of the Indian film industry.
