Sukesh Chandrashekhar, the alleged conman currently lodged in a Delhi jail, has reportedly gifted a yacht to Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez on her 39th birthday. According to a report by the Economic Times, Sukesh revealed in a birthday letter to Jacqueline that the yacht, named ‘Lady Jacqueline,’ was the very one she had selected in 2021.
In the letter, Sukesh, who referred to Jacqueline as his “baby girl,” promised that the yacht would be delivered this month. He expressed his desire for all of Jacqueline’s wishes to come true in the upcoming year, emphasizing that their thoughts and souls remain intertwined despite their physical separation.
The letter also revealed Sukesh’s intention to make up for the pain he had caused and his anticipation of celebrating August 11, 2025, together in what he described as a “Romeo and Juliet” style reunion.
Beyond the personal gestures, Sukesh pledged significant charitable contributions in Jacqueline’s honor. He promised a donation of ₹15 crores for the welfare of landslide victims in Wayanad, Kerala, and committed to providing 300 homes for those affected by the disaster. Sukesh claimed to have already assembled a team to collaborate with the Kerala government to fulfill these promises. Furthermore, he announced a giveaway of 100 iPhone 15 Pro devices to Jacqueline’s fans as a token of gratitude for their support, with winners to be chosen by his team on YouTube.
This extravagant gesture comes amidst ongoing legal troubles for both Sukesh and Jacqueline. In July, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summoned Jacqueline for another round of questioning in a money laundering case linked to Sukesh. The actor has previously been questioned by the agency in connection with the case, which involves the alleged cheating of high-profile individuals, including Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, to the tune of ₹200 crore.
The ED has accused Sukesh of using illicit funds to purchase lavish gifts for Jacqueline. The actor, however, has consistently maintained her innocence, asserting that she had no knowledge of Sukesh’s alleged criminal activities.
