Another tragic news has hit our nation, turning 2020 into a more drastic year. India’s former president Pranab Mukherjee has passed away. There have been many speculations about his passing away but being the fighter he was, he tried his best. However, inspite the efforts put in by the doctors and the prayers of his family and every Indian, he couldn’t survive. Today, i.e., on 31st August, India’s former president Pranab Mukherjee passed away. And the entire Bollywood has come out to mourn the loss. Many Bollywood stars took to their twitter and Instagram handle to mourn the loss and pray for the departed soul.
Lata Mangeshker wrote, “Deeply saddened to hear Pranab da Mukherjee passed away. Our former President, a Bharat Ratna and a thorough gentleman. We shared a very warm and cordial relationship. Heartfelt condolences to the family.” Ajay Devgn also made a tweet which read, “India loses a great statesman & respected leader My condolences to the family. #PranabMukherjee” While Taapsee even recalled the time when she met him and watched her film Pink.
