Udit Narayan recently reacted to the whole Indian Idol controversy and called his son Aditya “emotional” and “childish” for taking a stand. For those of you who are unaware, Amit Kumar made some shocking revelations after his guest appearance on the show he had revealed that he was told to praise and uplift the contestants irrespective of how they perform. After which the host of the show Aditya Narayan had taken a stand for which he was at the receiving end of criticism lately.

Reacting to his father’s comments Aditya had stated, “Theek hai, Sir. I am in this world because of my parents. The matter ends there. Har maa-baap ki nazar mein unka beta hmaesha bachcha hi hota hai. I am  honest to my work and will continue to be so. Not everyone has to agree with my view. And that’s okay.”

He further revealed that he is hurt by the fact that despite the hard work and efforts he puts into Indian Idol he is unappreciated and shared, “I feel sad that the very people I try to entertain through Indian Idol, forget that the pandemic has hit our household too. Like everyone else we too are worried and stressed. We’re not a pandemic-proof family.”

He also shared that he has familial responsibilities which force him to work hard, “My parents are  in the  age-bracket of  retirement. I have a  wife now. Soon we’ll have children. I have a  house to run and bills to pay. Setting my worries aside I  work hard every day to bring a smile on the faces  of the audience during these  stressful times.”
