Actor Varun Dhawan recently embraced fatherhood, as his wife, Natasha Dalal, welcomed their daughter earlier this year. In a heartfelt appearance on “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, Varun shared insights about his new role as a dad and the challenges of caring for a newborn. Alongside directors Raj & DK, he was on the show to promote their upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, “Citadel: Honey Bunny”.

During the episode aired on Wednesday night, host Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged that this Diwali is especially meaningful for Varun, noting the arrival of Goddess Lakshmi into his home. When Amitabh inquired about the baby’s name, Varun revealed that he wasn’t ready to disclose it yet.

Reflecting on his journey as a father, Varun expressed, “I’m still learning to connect with her; everything changes when a baby comes home.” He also sought Amitabh’s advice on the sleepless nights that accompany parenting. The legendary actor reminisced about his own experiences, sharing, “We managed to sleep, but there was always a bit of worry: is everything okay? We had a gadget that alerted us to any noise the baby made, which was quite useful.”

Varun continued the conversation by asking Amitabh how to balance acting responsibilities with family life, particularly when it comes to bedtime. Varun smiled and shared a golden rule for a harmonious household: “Keep your wife happy. If she’s content, everything else will fall into place. Remember, ‘wife is supreme.’”

Varun and Natasha tied the knot in January 2021 in a lavish ceremony attended by many Bollywood stars. The couple welcomed their daughter on June 3, marking a new chapter. As Varun navigates the joys and challenges of parenthood, his candid discussions on KBC highlight the excitement and learning that come with this significant change.
