But before he got romantically inclined towards Malaika Arora, who happened to be Salman Kha’s sister-in-law at that time, he was in a relationship with Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan. While nothing became official, Arjun Kapoor had only once talked about his relationship with Arpita Khan.
According to the online reports, Arjun Kapoor and Arpita Khan were in a relationship for over two years. Talking about their relationship, Arjun had once said, “My first and only serious relationship so far was with Arpita Khan. We started seeing each other when I was 18 and it lasted for two years. I was also already attached to Salman bhai, but it was during the shooting of ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ that our relationship started.”
The actor further added, “I was scared of Salman bhai and went and told him and the entire family as I wanted them to know from me first. They were very kind about it. He was taken aback, but he respects people and relationships. In fact, he was partial in that relationship where he would always take my side.”
Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is currently shooting for his next film, Bhoot Police in Dharamshala. The film is also featuring Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Yami Gautam. As Saif and Arjun are shooting for their film in the beautiful locales of Dharamshala, their partners Kareena Kapoor Khan, her son Taimur Ali Khan and Malaika Arora have also accompanied them on this mini-trip.
