Hema Malini recently expressed her admiration for Sunny Deol and praised him for his performance in the mega-hit film Gadar 2. Hema, who has always distanced herself from Dharmendra’s first family, attended the screening of the film on 18 August 2023 and shared her thoughts with the media. She said that the film was fantastic and praised the directors as well as Sunny for his performance. “Sunny Deol was amazing in Gadar 2,” Hema Malini said: “Sunny is superb, Utkarsh, Anil Sharma ji’s son unhone ne bhi bohut sundar acting kiya hai. Jo nayi ladki hai, woh bhi bohut acchi hai. Yeh picture dekh kar ek dum rashtra k prati jo bhav hone chahiye, patriotism, woh bohut hi hai.” Watch the video here!
Hema Malini’s daughter, Esha Deol, hosted a special screening for her step-brother, Sunny Deol’s film
At a special screening of Esha’s brother Sunny’s film Gadar 2 on the 12th of August 2023, the event was attended by Sunny and Bobby Deol. This was the first time that Dharmendra and his children were seen together in front of the camera. Sunny and Bobby embraced their elder sister, Esha, and Ahana joined them. A fan page posted a video of the event, which Dharmendra subsequently re-shared on his Instagram page, along with the lyrics of an old Hindi song.
Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol’s step-brother Esha Deol wrote an emotional letter
For those who don’t know, Esha is Dharmendra’s first daughter and Hema is Hema’s elder sister. She is Sunny’s half sister and shares a very close relationship with him. Esha Deol didn’t attend her nephew Karan Deola’s wedding, but on June 20th 2023, she posted an IG story where she wishes the newly-weds all the best for their new life.
