Actor and Comedian Krushna Abhishek have been in the headlines when he publicly refused to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show when Govinda and his daughter Tina were coming as guests. Krushna stated that he had taken the decision based on Govinda and his wife Sunita’s reservations about appearing on the show with him. In a recent interview, Govinda stated that someone is instigating his nephew Krushna Abhishek in speaking against him in public.
Speaking with the Times of India, when asked why Krushna Abhishek makes fun of him on the comedy TV show he features in, Govinda said that he is not sure why his nephew is doing so. The Biwi No 1 actor called Krushna ‘a good boy’ who is being misguided by someone else. Govinda said, “I really don’t know who is making him do it, otherwise, he is a good boy. Not only does he make fun but by doing it, he is spoiling my image. Whoever is behind it, we are seeing him do it.”
The Bollywood actor wondered if he is being ‘punished for supporting’ Krushna in his career, because of the scrutiny on nepotism. He added, “See, I have been a victim of nepotism and it was around the time I stopped getting work. I saw Amitabh Bachchan struggle too; he would come on stage and people from the industry would walk away. Don’t know if I got punished for supporting him. They set him free but caught me instead.”
