Sabita suffered injuries including a leg fracture and a jaw injury in the accident. According to initial reports, Rajesh was driving the car when they encountered a rickshaw on the road. In an attempt to avoid a collision, Rajesh swerved, causing him to lose control of the vehicle. However, CCTV footage contradicts this account, showing Rajesh speeding and crashing into a divider.
