A senior official said on Thursday that the police has registered a case against actor Kamal Rashid Khan for allegedly making objectionable remarks against BSP chief Mayawati.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Sagar Jain said that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) district unit president Sushil Kumar has lodged an FIR against Kamal R Khan alias KRK at Deoband police station. The actor belongs to the Phulas Akbarpur area of the district. According to the police, KRK had commented on BSP chief Mayawati by sharing a post on X.
