Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik, two Bollywood stalwarts, caught the industry by storm in the 1980s and 1990s with their comedic timing and strong performances. Kaushik’s untimely death crushed the former’s heart. He was the first to break the news of the late actor’s untimely death and the first to arrive at his Versova home to grieve the filmmaker’s wife and kid. He even talked to the paparazzi who were stationed outside Kaushik’s house to cover his burial.

Today, a video of Kher sobbing while saying goodbye to his closest buddy of 45 years is doing the rounds on the internet. The actor appeared distraught as he sat in an ambulance with the late filmmaker’s deadly body. He couldn’t help but cry, and others around him sought to comfort him.

Anupam took to social media to share a cute video of himself stroking Satish’s head. Fans shared their sorrow and inundated the actor with encouraging remarks. Another actor and close friend Neena Gupta too shared a short clip about Satish Kaushik’s sudden demise. The ‘Badhai Ho’ actress was visibly sad and shocked by the news.
