Bollywood actress Ananya Panday recently opened up about two instances where she accidentally leaked private phone numbers, including her own and that of her close friend Suhana Khan, daughter of Shah Rukh Khan. These incidents, which created some unexpected drama, were shared by Ananya during a recent appearance on Netflix India’s YouTube channel.
Ananya, who is gearing up for her upcoming cyber-thriller film CTRL, revealed how she mistakenly posted Suhana Khan’s phone number on Instagram, leading to Suhana’s number being hacked.

“Once I leaked Suhana’s number by mistake. I was FaceTiming her, and she wasn’t picking up. I took a screenshot of the call and put it on Instagram, but her number was visible in the post,” Ananya recounted during the conversation. She went on to explain how Suhana discovered the breach. “Then she called me, saying her number got hacked. I was shocked at first, thinking it was a bizarre coincidence, until someone pointed out that it was me who had leaked it.”
Ananya further shared another humorous story where she accidentally revealed her phone number during a live interview. “I was doing a press conference, and some reporters asked for my number. The interview had started by then, and my number got broadcasted live on YouTube,” she explained, recalling the chaos that ensued after her phone number was made public.
Despite these mishaps, Ananya took the incidents in stride, laughing them off as part of the unpredictable nature of public life.
Meanwhile, Ananya’s upcoming film CTRL is set to release on Netflix on October 4. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the cyber-thriller has generated significant buzz, especially with Ananya taking on a more serious role in a film that delves into the dark world of cybercrime.
