The couple, who were commemorating their first wedding anniversary, were hailed by the media. Alia kissed Ranbir, which stunned everyone, as he attempted to welcome the photographers. While Ranbir shook hands with the photographers as the pair sat in the car, Alia swiftly kissed Ranbir on the cheeks. Alia blushed as Paps encouraged them and asked them to strike that stance.

Recently, a video of Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt discussing their wedding in different interviews has been making the rounds online. Alia was seen discussing destination weddings and describing them as “too stressful” in the compilation video, which was published on a Reddit page. In addition, she referred to it as a show-off and claimed that it wasn’t for her. According to a quote from her:

In the same video, Neetu Kapoor disclosed that Alia and Ranbir originally intended to wed in South Africa but chose to wed instead at their residence. Neetu was reported to have said: “Ranbir and Alia had planned so much that ‘We’ll go to South Africa, we’ll do a recce,’ and eventually, where did they do it (marry)? At their home. For two years we were planning we’ll go here, and we were looking at pictures. We were completely going nuts. But this was the best, and she looked so beautiful.”
