Bollywood couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s rumoured wedding date is out and according to the reports, it will be an intimate affair. It was Alia Bhatt’s official declaration by calling her BF, Ranbir Kapoor, ‘mine’ on national television that had won millions of hearts. Since then, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had made a couple of entries at Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception, their fans eagerly waiting for them to announce their wedding news.
During the shooting of their upcoming movie, Brahmastra when Cupid had struck the lovebirds with its sharpest arrow. In the last few days, there has been a rumour about Alia and Ranbir’s wedding in April. According to the reports of ETimes, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will get married on April 17, 2022, in an intimate ceremony.
The reason behind their secretive ceremony is Alia Bhatt’s maternal grandfather’s ill health. A source close to the couple disclosed the date and also shared that they would be tying the knot at RK studios. The source revealed: “Alia’s grandfather N Razdan wanted to see her getting married to Ranbir. A hush-hush wedding has thus been planned on April 17 which will be a close-knit family affair. The ceremony will be held at RK Studios and nothing extravagant has been planned yet.”
In a chat with NDTV, Ranbir Kapoor had divulged the speculations regarding his wedding rumours with his Brahmastra co-star, Alia Bhatt. He had revealed that soon they would tie the knot. Although he didn’t hint at the date, and when he was questioned about this, he gave a funny reply. He had stated: “Mujhe paagal kutte ne nahi kaata hai ki main media ko announce kardu date. But Alia and I have all the intentions of getting married soon, so yes, hopefully soon.”
On March 27, 2022, popular bridal designer, Beena Kannan had shared a post on her Instagram handle and had posted a picture with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. In the picture, the actress had worn a cream-coloured dress while Ranbir had worn a blue-hued shirt. The lovebirds were seen posing with the designer. Though the post was filled with netizens’ comments as they had asked whether they were getting married.
While one user had written, “Is it Wedding bells”, another had commented, “It looks like wedding bells.”
