Madhurima Tuli, best known for her stint on Bigg Boss 13, recently opened up about her experience working alongside Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in her debut film Baby. The film, which released in 2015, saw Tuli playing the role of Kumar’s wife, marking her first significant entry into the Bollywood industry.
In a recent conversation with fellow Bigg Boss 13 contestant Paras Chhabra, Tuli recounted the nervousness she felt while working with Kumar. “It was my debut film, and romancing such a big superstar was very overwhelming,” she shared, highlighting the initial anxiety she experienced on set.
Despite her nerves, Tuli credited the supportive environment provided by the film’s makers and her co-stars for helping her ease into her role. “The makers and the actors were incredibly supportive and helpful, which eventually made me feel comfortable during the scenes,” she added.
Chhabra, curious about the legendary discipline associated with Akshay Kumar, inquired about the routine that everyone working with the star had to follow. Tuli confirmed the rumors, noting that Kumar’s punctuality and disciplined lifestyle are indeed true. “Akshay sir is very punctual and disciplined with his routine, and whoever works with him also follows a similar routine and ethics,” she explained. Tuli revealed that this meant waking up at 4 a.m. to be ready for shoots by 7 a.m.
The conversation between Tuli and Chhabra was not all work-related; the two also reminisced about their time on Bigg Boss and touched on recent controversies, including Asim Riaz’s behavior on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. When asked for her opinion on the matter, Tuli speculated that Riaz might have been dealing with fear, causing him to react strongly. “It seemed like Asim was still not out of the Bigg Boss house and that he stretched the quarrel a little too much,” she remarked.
The podcast offered fans a glimpse into Tuli’s professional journey and her thoughts on the ongoing reality TV drama.
