In an incident following the screening of Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba on Thursday evening, actor Taapsee Pannu was seen addressing a paparazzo for invading her personal space. The event took place as Pannu exited the theatre, where a member of the media approached her closely to take pictures.

In a video clip shared on social media, the actor is visibly startled and expresses her discomfort. “Aap chadhhiye mat. Aap chadhh ke aayenge toh aap mujhe daraa rahe hai (Don’t come too close to me. If you do, you are scaring me),” Taapsee is heard telling the photographer.

As she made her way towards her vehicle, other photographers urged the individual to apologise, which he promptly did. The paparazzi collectively shouted out to Pannu, informing her of the apology. Before getting into her car, the actor acknowledged the gesture with a brief “thank you.” For the occasion, Taapsee was spotted in a striking black and red outfit.

This is not the first time Taapsee Pannu has publicly addressed issues with the paparazzi. Last month, during an interview with Fever FM, the actor spoke about the challenges she faces with photographers who cross physical boundaries or follow her car too closely.

She emphasised that she refuses to feel guilty for asserting her personal space, noting that her work speaks for itself without the need for appeasing a particular section of the media.

“I don’t have to appease a section of so-called media… I don’t call them media,” she stated, criticizing those who prioritize clickbait over genuine journalism.

On the professional front, Taapsee is set to appear as Rani in Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, alongside Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, and Jimmy Shergill.

The film, a sequel to Haseen Dillruba, released on Netflix on August 9. Additionally, she will star in Khel Khel Mein, alongside Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is scheduled for an August 15 release.
