The India leg of singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Dil-Luminati’ Tour has created a massive buzz as tickets sold out within minutes of release. Fans rushed to secure their spots, but many were left disappointed, with some turning to social media to express their frustration. A significant point of discussion was the high cost of the tickets, which ranged from ₹1,499 to as much as ₹25,000, adding to the outrage among fans unable to purchase them.

Social media influencer and comedian Saloni Gaur seized the moment by posting a humorous take on the situation, addressing the concerns about the pricey tickets. In a video shared on her platforms, Saloni portrayed a dual role, showcasing a conversation between two contrasting personas – one defending concert-goers and the other criticising them.

The dialogue in her skit began with advice for the younger generation to spend money wisely, criticizing those spending ₹10,000 or more for concert tickets just to see someone sing live. In her humorous critique, she noted in Hindi, “Even if you get tickets, your seat will be so far away that the singer will look like an ant.”

Saloni continued her comic rant by suggesting that instead of spending money on concert tickets, people should invest in good shoes and go anywhere but the concert. She mockingly highlighted how fans could listen to the artist’s music from the comfort of their homes, where they could enjoy conveniences such as “outside food and water,” a jab at concert venue restrictions.

The second persona, who supported concert-goers, quickly responded, questioning if the critic was just bitter about not securing a ticket. The exchange between the two characters ended with a comedic twist when the concert-supporting Saloni revealed she had an extra ticket, causing the other Saloni to hilariously break character in disbelief.

Diljit Dosanjh himself engaged with the post, liking the video, much to the delight of fans.
