About Bad Newz

Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz hit theaters on July 19, 2024. This film marks the first collaboration between Tripti Dimri, Ammy Virk, and Vicky Kaushal. A spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Good Newz, which starred Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Diljit Dosanjh, Bad Newz introduces fresh dynamics and chemistry among its lead actors. It also serves as the first major commercial film for Animal star Tripti Dimri as a lead.

Movie Review

In his review for Bad Newz, Aseem Sharma awarded the film four out of five stars. Sharma praised the film for its engaging story and the fresh pairing of Vicky, Tripti, and Ammy. He noted that the film is an enjoyable watch, perfect for families or couples. Sharma also highlighted the inclusion of retro songs from Dharma Productions’ archives, which add a humorous touch to the film.

“The story is good with a touch of fresh pairing of the trio, Vicky, Tripti, and Ammy. The film is a good watch, and you can definitely enjoy it with your family or your partner. Apart from the story and actors, the film also contains some retro songs, including from Dharma Productions’ archives, which we bet will tickle your funny bone,” Sharma wrote.
