Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai actor Karan Mehra and wife Nisha Rawal were one of the most adored couples of the telly town. For those who don’t know Karan and Nisha made us believe in happily ever afters. Earlier this month there were reports that Karan Mehra and his wife Nisha Rawal are facing trouble in their marriage and the couple was desperately trying to reconcile things.
When Karan was contacted he had refuted rumors of trouble in paradise. And now as per reports, Karan Mehra had been arrested by the Mumbai police on charges of domestic violence after his wife filed an FIR against him. The actor was later released on bail.

Now Karan has now opened upon about his side of the story. Karan had revealed that their marriage was going through a rough phase and they were even thinking of parting ways. He also added that her brother Rohit Sethiya had also come to help them resolve their differences but later the two asked for alimony which was too high for the actor to pay. He also revealed Nisha was the one who initiated the fight and hurled abuses at him.

She started shouting loudly and not only that Nisha even spat on me. When I asked Nisha to go out, she threatened me by saying ‘see what I do now’ and went out. She then smashed her head on the wall, and told everyone that I did it,” he said.

He also revealed that she is trying to turn his child against him and stated, “I could see that she was trying to get me away from my child”.
