Speculation is swirling around Bollywood couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, with rumours suggesting that they are expecting their first child. Amid these rumours, Vicky Kaushal made a public appearance on Friday evening to promote his upcoming film, Bad Newz, which stars Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

During the trailer launch event, Kaushal was asked about the pregnancy rumours. Addressing the question, he said, “Main jab good news hogi tabhi jarur aapko bataunga. Jabhi time aayega we won’t shy about announcing the news” (Whenever there will be good news, I’ll share it with you all. Whenever the time is right, we won’t shy about announcing the news).

In a recent interview with GQ, Kaushal reflected on how marriage has changed his life. He stated, “You can never be the same person after marriage. Starting to live a life with someone is a huge addition. Because until then, everything is about you. Your schedule, your perspective—it’s what is right for you. When you’re married, it’s the ‘us’ that supersedes your individual needs. Every decision has to make sense for both of us. Only then is there inner peace. I’d go so far as to say that the amount I’ve matured in the last two and a half years [post marriage] is way more than I did in the first 33 years of my life.”

On the professional front, Kaushal was recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. Meanwhile, Kaif’s last appearance was in Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas.

The pregnancy rumours intensified after a video of the couple from their London trip went viral, sparking speculation that they are set to welcome their first baby. The rumours continued even after Kaif returned to Mumbai.

Bad Newz, a comedy film exploring the rare scientific occurrence of heteropaternal superfecundation—where a woman can be impregnated by multiple male partners—will be released on July 19.

The film is a spiritual sequel to Good Newwz. Kaushal and Kaif, who married in a grand ceremony in Rajasthan in 2021, continue to focus on their flourishing careers, with Kaushal also recently seen in Sam Bahadur.
