Days after her mother, Snehalata Dixit, died, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit turned to her social media account and sent a poignant and emotional message. The actress stated how her mother’s death still feels strange to her. Sharing an old photo with her mum, the actress reflected on her mother’s life lessons.
Madhuri posted on Instagram on Monday, in her long post she wrote that she woke up to find her mother’s room empty. she said that the feeling was surreal as her mother has taught them to embrace and celebrate life. she further mentioned that her mother has given many things to people. the actress and her family will miss her mother dearly but she will live on in their memories. “Her wit, positivity, and grace were infectious. We will celebrate her life together through our memories. Om shanti om,” she wrote.
Fans and netizens condoled the actress, and many expressed their condolences in the post’s comments section. For the uninitiated, the 55-year-old’s mother died on Sunday at the age of 91. Madhuri and her husband, Dr. Shriram Nene, announced the sad news in a joint statement. In the statement they mentioned that their beloved aai Snehelata has left the world peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.
Madhuri is the youngest of four siblings, with an older brother and two elder sisters. Shankar Dixit, the actress’s father, died in 2013 at the age of 91.
In terms of employment, she was most recently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Maja Ma in 2022. The film was directed by Anand Tiwari and stars Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Gajraj Rao, and Sheeba Chaddha in major parts.
