Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are a power couple and a happy family together. It’s been over 10 years that the two got married and are a happy family with their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. However, there have been several instances that the two have been rumored to be separating or having a divorce. But all these have just been baseless rumors and nothing more.
It all escalated when there was a video clip of the two not looking extremely happy with each other. That’s when the rumours of a tiff between the two started doing rounds. However, Abhishek Bachchan was extremely furious on hearing such rumors. Abhishek took to Twitter to put the false rumours to rest most sassily. He had written, “I believe I’m getting divorced. Thanks for letting me know! Will you let me know when I’m getting remarried too? Thanks! #muppets.”
While talking about the same, Abhishek Bachchan had told Filmfare, “I know what the truth is, and I know how far to take the media seriously. I am not going to allow a third party to dictate to Aishwarya and me on how we should lead our lives. She knows how much I love her, and I know how much she loves me.”
Abhishek also spoke about misinterpretations by media to capture eyeballs and clear the air by saying, “If you are going to misinterpret something for your own convenience, then go ahead. I am a public figure after all. And I cannot make the media happy all the time. My marriage and my life are not going to be dictated by what the media says. So, it’s really not an issue for me.”
Abhishek Bachchan had once spoken about the secret behind his successful married life with Aishwarya Rai to Filmfare, saying communication is essential in a marriage and there should be respect and understanding in a relationship to work. “There’s a lot of adjustment, a lot of give and take. There will be agreements and disagreements. But it’s important to keep the communication going. That’s something I’ve always believed in.”
