Finally! The two heartthrobs of Bollywood Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal are tying the knot. The two will be husband and wife soon and the wedding ceremonies of the couple have begun. The couple kick-started the wedding celebrations with a grand sangeet ceremony on Tuesday. The couple is expected to begin with the Mehendi ceremony today. All the big stars of the Bollywood industry are expected to attend the ceremony today. However, a few of the close friends of the couple like Rohit Shetty are expected to skip the wedding despite having a special invitation from the couple.
But before you reach any conclusion let us tell you the reason behind why the Sooryavanshi director is planning to skip the wedding. According to a report by ETimes, it is learnt that the director wanted to attend the wedding of the couple but couldn’t do so because of his tight schedule. The director is busy shooting for his next film and hence won’t be able to attend the wedding ceremonies.
The reports stated that the Golmaal Series director is busy planning the next schedule of his film Cirkus with Ranveer Singh and Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez, and therefore, he will have to give the Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal wedding a miss.
The other celebs who are already at the wedding venue are 83’ director Kabir Khan and wife Mini Mathur. The two are very close to Katrina and reportedly also hosted the couple’s secret roka at their home during Diwali. Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Shankar Mahadevan and Ehsaan Noorani, Gurdas Maan, Yasmin Karachiwala, Anaita Shroff Adjania amongst others are already part of the celebrations. While names like Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh, and more Bollywood biggies are all touted to attend the grand do in Rajasthan.
