Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty has unveiled the latest promo for her show Chapter 2, featuring a candid conversation with Bollywood icon Aamir Khan. Known as the industry’s “perfectionist,” Aamir Khan joins Rhea for an intimate discussion on a range of topics, including stardom, therapy, grief, and more.
Aamir Khan is the second guest to appear on the show, following Rhea’s debut episode with former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen.
The promo begins with Rhea complimenting Aamir on his looks, which leads to a playful exchange where Aamir humorously compares himself to Bollywood heartthrobs Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan. “Hrithik is handsome, Salman is handsome, Shah Rukh is really handsome but me…,” Aamir trails off, prompting Rhea to interject, “You are also handsome. I think the whole country will agree with me for once.” The exchange takes a light-hearted turn when Aamir remarks, “People make fun of my fashion choices,” to which Rhea teasingly responds, “I never said you are stylish.”
In a more emotional moment, Aamir Khan is seen tearing up as he reflects on a pivotal point in his life, saying, “From there my Chapter 2 began…” He also takes a moment to commend Rhea for her resilience, stating, “You have shown remarkable courage, Rhea.” The actor delves into his thoughts on stepping away from films, only to be met with Rhea’s playful skepticism. The conversation touches on Aamir’s experience with therapy, which he credits for teaching him valuable life lessons.
Rhea Chakraborty shared the promo on Instagram, expressing her excitement about the episode. “I’m thrilled to welcome Aamir Khan, a true star and a genuine friend. Stay tuned for a deep dive about his experience with stardom, parenthood, grief, and more,” she wrote. The episode is set to stream on August 23.
Rhea Chakraborty, who faced intense scrutiny following the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020, has gradually returned to the public eye. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan, last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, is currently working on his next project, Sitaare Zameen Par.
