Vivek Oberoi Trolled On Social Media After Tweeting A Disrespectful Meme On India’s Defeat In World Cup Semi-Finals!
Lately, Vivek Oberoi has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He has been easily becoming a target for the trolls for a while now and this time, it is because of a ridiculous meme he posted on Twitter about India’s exit from the world cup semi-finals against New Zealand.
India was performing outstandingly in the tournament and everybody expected the team to win. But unfortunately, destiny planned otherwise and we ended up losing our spot to the finals to New Zealand. Disappointed cricket fans took to social media to express their sadness and anger about the loss, but in the middle of all this, Vivek Oberoi posted a nasty GIF on Twitter with the caption, “This is what happened to Indian fans in the #WC semi-finals! #CWC19 #WorldCupSemiFinal #INDvsNZ #indiavsNewzealand”.

In the GIF, an Indian can be seen walking down the street thinking that the lady walking towards him is about to hug him, but instead, the lady goes to hug another man who was just behind him. This meme seemed unpleasant to most of the users and hence, Vivek Oberoi was massively trolled for it.
One user wrote, “Mr Oberoi, be mature otherwise people will always take you lightly.”

Then, another one wrote, “Vivek Oberoi is perfect for biopic of Sanjay Manjrekar.”

Someone then went a little behind time and took a dig at his past with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Before this, the actor goofed up when he mistakenly promoted Salman Khan’s Bharat and then deleted the post later. He also made headlines when he posted a meme taking a dig at his past love affair with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wherein he involved Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan as well. He got heavily criticised for the same and had to eventually take down the post off social media.
