Known as LA’s most damaging fire ever, the fire has reportedly expanded to over 17,000 acres with no chance of control, according to a CNN report. Sidhartha has stated that he and his spouse are secure as of right now, nevertheless. In addition, he extended an offer of assistance to anyone else who needed it.
Sidhartha Mallya took to his Instagram account to assure everyone of his and his wife’s safety
Siddhartha, son of Vijay Mallya, and his wife Jasmine, who live in London, were visiting Los Angeles when disaster struck with the onset of the Palisades Fire. For those who are unaware, Sidhartha Mallya is the son of Vijay Mallya, a former politician and businessman, and Samira Tyabjee Mallya, his first wife. In June of 2023, Sidhartha married Jasmine, his long-time partner. Both the couple’s close friends and the Indian friends of Sidhartha’s devoted father were invited to the couple’s stunning wedding ceremony, which took place at Vijay’s opulent Hertfordshire home.
Priyanka Chopra and Nora Fatehi affected by the Los Angeles fire

Additionally, Priyanka shared a follow-up story featuring terrifying Palisades Fire footage. According to the video, thousands of acres of land had been burned and multiple homes had been damaged. As the situation worsened, Nora Fatehi also shared on her Instagram account how she and her colleagues were told to leave right away. In her note, she wrote:
“I am in LA and the wildfires are crazy. I have never seen anything like that. This is insane, we just got an evacuation order five minutes ago. So I quickly packed all my stuff and I am evacuating out of here. I am gonna go near the airport and chill there because I have a flight today and I really hope I can catch it.”
US President Joe Biden Called The Wildfires Major Calamity
On January 7, 2025, US President Joe Biden called the wildfires a major calamity. Additionally, he pledged that the federal government will refund the whole cost of the recovery operations over the next 180 days on January 9. The budget is intended to pay for first responder salaries, temporary shelter setup, and the removal of hazards and debris. After meeting with the senior adviser at the White House, Biden stated: “I told the governor, local officials, spare no expense to do what they need to do and contain these fires.”
