The excitement surrounding the upcoming film “Jigra” has intensified following the release of its trailer, drawing significant attention from fans and media alike. Alia Bhatt, one of Bollywood’s leading actresses and a producer of the film, recently visited Delhi to promote “Jigra,” where she addressed comparisons between her film and the 2023 blockbuster “Animal,” which stars her husband, Ranbir Kapoor.
In response to inquiries about the similarities between the two films, Bhatt stated, “I see no similarity between the two films, aside from one common theme found in many narratives: doing something for a loved one.” She emphasized that this theme is prevalent across numerous films, suggesting that while both projects may share a similar motif, their narratives and executions diverge significantly.
Bhatt also expressed her gratitude for having Kapoor as both a husband and a best friend, highlighting their collaborative dynamic. “I feel very fortunate that my husband is also my best friend and a wonderful actor. We often discuss our films and scenes with each other,” she said. She noted that their discussions range from her experiences on “Gangubai Kathiawadi” to “Jigra,” allowing them to support one another in their respective careers. “Every time I had a confusion, I would discuss it with him, and he did the same with me for ‘Animal,'” Bhatt added.
