Actor Vedang Raina is set to make a splash with his upcoming film Jigra, alongside Alia Bhatt, which is scheduled for release on October 11. Raina, who made his debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies earlier this year, received widespread acclaim for his performance. He has also recently garnered media attention for his rumoured relationship with his Archies co-star, Khushi Kapoor.

In a candid interview with Galatta India, Vedang discussed his relationships with fellow co-stars, including Suhana Khan and Agastya Nanda. When asked about Suhana, the daughter of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, he expressed admiration for her warmth, stating, “One thing I like about her is that she is very warm to people around her.” However, he also humorously noted that Suhana tended to take the longest to get ready on set, saying, “The guys would get done in 15 minutes and then they would wait for 40 minutes just for Suhana.” Vedang added that their shooting was often interrupted by her hair and makeup team, who would stop them mid-scene to fix her hair. He clarified, “It was not Suhana’s fault; it was the requirement of the film.”

Regarding his rumoured girlfriend Khushi Kapoor, Vedang shared that he appreciates her sweetness and generosity towards others. However, he expressed concern when she experiences self-doubt. “I don’t think this is something I tolerate about her, but sometimes she goes on a self-doubt trip and I feel like she shouldn’t,” he said.

Jigra Movie

As Vedang prepares for the release of Jigra, both Khushi and Suhana are also busy with their upcoming projects. Suhana is set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s film King, which will also feature her father, Shah Rukh Khan. Meanwhile, Khushi is working on an untitled project directed by Advait Chandan, which stars Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan, who recently debuted with the Netflix film Maharaj.

As the release date for Jigra approaches, anticipation continues to build for Vedang Raina’s next steps in the film industry, along with the projects of his talented co-stars.
