After a close friend of Dhawan’s family confirmed Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal’s wedding on 24 January in Alibaug, we’ve now got our hands on a very selective guest list who will be attending the wedding. Recently, it was reported that no friends will be invited to the wedding as it’s going to be a close family affair. Now, a source close to the Dhawan family has informed that some people from the film fraternity are being invited because they cannot be un-present at the wedding.
The guest-list includes Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt(with Ranbir Kapoor), Katrina Kaif from the film industry, and a few other non-filmy friends from the film industry. Amitabh Bachchan is also on the invitees’ list.
A source close to Dhawan’s informed Spotboye, “There some people who just cannot be un-present at the wedding. They’re being asked to attend the wedding in Alibaug on January 24. However, at the wedding reception on January 27, almost the entire film industry is being invited.”
While confirming the wedding news, the source said, “I’ve had journalists calling up asking about it for days, and I told them it’s just a rumour. But I can’t lie to you. Yes, Varun is indeed getting married on 24th at Alibaug. Ab kitni din intezaar karega (how long will he wait?). COVID is not going away anywhere. They had decided they’d get married after the release of Coolie No 1. Log shadiyan dhoom dham se mana rahen gain (people are getting married with all pomp and splendour). But Varun and Natasha cannot afford to do that. If they invite one guest more than 50 they are in trouble.”
