In a heartfelt segment during the recent episode of Bigg Boss, actor Salman Khan discussed the emotional turmoil he has been experiencing following threats to his life, allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This unsettling situation has escalated after the tragic shooting of his longtime friend, politician Baba Siddique, in Mumbai.
The Bollywood community has rallied around Salman, offering support during this challenging time. Among those showing solidarity is singer Mika Singh, who dedicated a portion of his live performance to the actor. During a recent concert, Mika addressed the audience, saying, “Bhai hu main bhai, tu fikar na kar. Uski m** ki, uski b**n ki, jo dekhe idhar,” which translates to, “Brother, don’t worry, I am here for you.”
The threats against Salman have been serious; earlier this year, shots were fired at his residence, with the Bishnoi gang claiming responsibility for both the attack and Siddique’s murder. As a result of the escalating threats, Salman’s security has been significantly tightened.
While filming Bigg Boss 18 on Friday, strict security measures were implemented on set. Crew members were required to remain on-site until the conclusion of the shoot, and new individuals were prohibited from entering the premises. Additionally, Aadhaar Card verification was made mandatory for anyone present. Salman himself was confined to his chalet, protected by over 60 security guards at all times.

Despite these challenges, Salman is looking forward to his upcoming film, ”Sikandar”, directed by AR Murugadoss. Scheduled for release around Eid 2025, the action film will feature Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, alongside a star-studded cast that includes Prateik Babbar, Suniel Shetty, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Sharman Joshi in key roles.
