July 19, 2021, had come as a big shock for Shilpa Shetty and the entire nation as Raj Kundra was arrested for his alleged involvement in the creation and distribution of pornographic content. For the longest time, Shilpa Shetty has maintained silence on the controversy. But now it seems like she is now hellbent on getting her life back on track.
From attending a COVID-19 fundraiser event to making a comeback on the sets of dance reality show the actress is all set to restart her life after a rollercoaster ride of few months. The actress is mercilessly trolled on and off for her public appearances but she is not letting anything dampen her spirits.
And now recent reports suggest that Shilpa has recorded her statement with the Mumbai Police where she claimed that she was not aware of her husband’s illegal business. As per a report in NDTV.com, Shilpa had stated, “I was too busy with work and didn’t know what Raj Kundra was up to”.
Shilpa Shetty made a pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi to offer prayers to the goddess on the same day the Mumbai police filed a charge sheet against her husband Raj Kundra.
Off late there were reports that Shilpa Shetty is planning to distance herself and her kids Viaan and Samisha from their father’s illegal wealth. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama Raj Kundra’s involvement in creation of pornographic content came as a shock for Shilpa Shetty as she was not aware where the properties and the diamond were coming from.
