She has used her fame and stardom to bring a positive change. In 2021, she tied the knot with a Mumbai-based businessman, Vaibhav Rekhi. But what caught our eyes into it was the ceremonies done by a female priestess. Thanking her, Diya wrote a lengthy post on her Instagram handle, where she said, “The highest point for us was the Vedic ceremony conducted by a woman priest! I had never seen a woman performing a wedding ceremony until I attended my childhood friend Ananya’s wedding a few years ago. Ananya’s wedding gift to Vaibhav and me was to bring Sheela Atta who is her aunt and also a priestess, to perform the ceremony for us.” She dares to work as a one-woman army for mother earth.

Rajkumar Rao who is known for his out-of-the-box roles did something out of the box during his wedding. After applying sindoor on patralekhaa’s forehead, Rao asked her to apply sindoor on his forehead as well. he said, “Chalo tum bhi laga lo.” When asked later, the actor replied, ‘I didn’t read all the comments but I know a lot many people picked it up and a lot of articles were being written, in a good way. People appreciated that and it was very impulsive. None of us planned it.’
