Swara Bhasker’s pre-wedding celebrations in Delhi continue to include a variety of styles. On Monday, the actor dressed up like a Telugu bride for a day ceremony at which Carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghuraman sang live on stage. The decor was done in a classic manner as well, with marigold flowers in front of a basic white background.
Swara shared numerous photos and videos from the Monday celebration on her Instagram Stories. She dressed in a crimson and gold saree with traditional jewelry to resemble a Telugu bride. “Channelling Telugu Brides,” she captioned one of the images. She wore a nose ring, mathapatti, matching hair accessories, earrings, necklace, and matching glass bangles and looked lovely. Her boyfriend, Fahad Ahmad, wore a white kurta pyjama with a beige Nehru jacket.
Swara also posted a video of Carnatic vocalist Sudha Raghuraman on stage. “The magnificent @sudharaghuraman20 making our wedding festivities beautiful #SwaadAnusaar,” she wrote. She also shared photos and videos from her mehendi and sangeet on Sunday. During the mehendi, she wore an orange anarkali outfit, and for the sangeet, she wore a green lehenga. She also danced as singer Deene Khan sang for her. She joked while sharing a few shots, “Stalking other websites for my own wedding pics.”
Swara revealed last month that she had married Fahad Ahmad, the state president of the Samajwadi Party’s youth branch, Samajwadi Yuvjan Sabha. She had posted a video to provide a glimpse into their love journey. The duo first registered their wedding at the court and are now celebrating wedding festivities.
