Sushmita Sen experienced a heart attack in February. With an Instagram post, the actress notified her followers of the situation. Vikas Kumar, who portrays ACP Khan in Aarya 3, Sushmita’s co-star, has now spoken out about Sushmita’s heart attack. The Aarya 3 actor said that Sushmita had a heart attack after arriving in Jaipur. He continued by saying that she kept her identity a secret on site and that no one learned of her until “she told the world.”
In an interview with News18, Vikas stated, “Much of season 3 is finished. The show is based in Rajasthan. In Jaipur, we need to film a few outside sequences. We arrived there, but Sushmita Sen sadly had a heart attack. At first, we were unaware of it. We eventually learned in a few days when she presented it to the public.
“At first, even she didn’t realise what occurred,” Vikas continued. The tests were completed. Later, when she found out, she informed everyone. That’s how we first became aware of it. We realised we couldn’t keep filming after just one day. It was obvious that we needed to stop since the issue was not transitory. So we took a brief break.
Sushmita told her followers about the heart attack in a snapshot she posted with her father last month. In an Instagram post, the actress stated that she had had an angioplasty and was recovering well. A few days later, Sushmita appeared live on Instagram and revealed that she had had a “massive heart attack” in front of her admirers. She disclosed that her primary artery was 95% blocked.
