Sudhanshu Pandey, known for his portrayal of Vanraj Shah in the popular television show Anupamaa, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding his sudden departure from the show. Pandey’s exit has sparked widespread speculation, with many reports suggesting that a rift with his co-star Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular character, was the reason behind his decision to leave.

Fans of the show were taken aback by the news, which also seems to have impacted the show’s ratings. Anupamaa has consistently maintained the top spot in TRP charts since its inception, making Pandey’s exit a significant development.

Pandey had been associated with the show for four years, playing a pivotal role in its success. However, in a recent public statement, the actor put an end to the swirling rumors and shared the true reason behind his departure.

Pandey Denies Rift with Rupali Ganguly

During an award function in Mumbai, Sudhanshu Pandey clarified that no one was to blame for his exit from Anupamaa. Contrary to the circulating rumors, Pandey emphasized that his decision was entirely personal and not influenced by any disagreements with Rupali Ganguly or anyone else involved in the show.

“No one is responsible for someone’s exit,” Pandey stated firmly. “It is my choice whether I want to continue with a project or not. If I decide to move on, it’s my decision alone. No one else can be held accountable, and certainly, no one has the power to influence the removal of an actor like me.”

Pandey also dispelled any notion of animosity between him and Rupali Ganguly, referring to her as a friend. “I have never mentioned Rupali’s name in a negative context. She is my friend. Why would I say anything against her?” he added.

Clarification on Bigg Boss 18 Rumors

Additionally, Pandey addressed the rumors regarding his participation in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 18  He categorically denied these claims, stating, “This is absolutely false. I am not entering Bigg Boss 18. However, if I were ever invited to host, I would consider it because I believe I host well.”

Pandey’s clarification comes after he announced his departure from Anupamaa during an Instagram live session with fans on August 28.
