Sonam Retaliates At Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit For His Troll
The brutal murder case that took place a day ago in Aligarh has left the whole nation into shame and sorrow. Various people including our B-Town’s celebs are expressing their pain and anger through their social media. One of these celebs was Sonam Kapoor who took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “What has happened to baby twinkle is. Heartbreaking and horrific. I pray for her and her family. I also urge people to not make this into a selfish agenda. This is a little girls death, not a reason to spread your hate.”
Though she urged people not to make it a reason to spread hate but it seems that some people disagree with her very strongly. Even her tweet in support of the girl went against herself when a few netizens went over trolling her for the tweet. Most of them blame her for not taking a stronger stand like what she did in the ‘Kathua’ case earlier.

One of these netizens who trolled the actress was the filmmaker and the director of Indian Film & TV directors association (IFTA), Ashoke Pandit. In reply of her tweet, he compared her reaction with the one she had at the time of Asifa and wrote, “@sonamakapoor On #Asifa U questioned d values of india by tweeting :
“I am Hindustan. I am ashamed. 8 years old gang raped & murdered in ‘Devi’-sthaan Temple.”And nw on #TwinkleSharma you tweet saying “I urge Ppl to not make ds into a selfish agenda.” Why this disparity?”

The comment was harsh but Sonam is not a person who gets dominated so easily. She responded to the filmmaker writing, “Because I practice Hinduism and I believe in karma.” The series of responses continued when Ashoke replied to it with he words, “I hv nt qstnd ur beliefs bt want to knw why dr’s a diffrnce in Ur reaction btwn #Asifa & #Twinkle. Why ds delayed reaction ?Why no playcards? Why nt tkng names of d accused? Don’t U think al crimes shld b condemned wth same intensity nd similar language. #JusticeForTwinkleSharma.”

The actress still kept her calm and tried to put a full stop to the argument saying, “I’m sure you have better things to do than troll me ❤️. Hope you find peace and love. Thank you for your opinions, this made my day. Ignorance is truly bliss.”

Well, let’s hope these trolls stop right here and people understand that such a sensitive topic should not be turned into a debate like this.
