In an interview with Hauterrfly, Sonakshi Sinha opened up about the online hate she and Zaheer Iqbal faced during their wedding. The Dabangg actress shared that the negativity reached such an intense level, she ended up disabling the comments on her wedding posts. She confessed that she had no interest in hearing from trolls and made a conscious decision to distance herself from their toxic remarks. In her words:
“Bahut log etna sara bakwas kar rahe that you had to literally just switch off. Kaan tak aata tha. That’s why we put our comments off. On the big day that I have been waiting for so long, mujhe yeh bakwas dekhni hi nai hai. The collateral damage was people who actually wished me well. I couldn’t read their messages either. But like I said, humne ess tarah mei shadi ki, whoever showered us with love and was genuinely happy for us made the day even more special.”
